A Message from a Sister Center in the Middle East, the International Center of Bethlehem

Let Us Go Now To Bethlehem And See This Thing That Has Happened. Luke 2:15

As the world talks of peace, the Israeli government continues to build a wall that confiscates large tracts of Palestinian land. If this wall is not stopped, Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ will be confined to 7 square miles (20 square  kilometers). Complete enclosure by a complex of walls, settlements and roads will take away the flexibility our community needs to grow. This system jeopardizes the peace process and virtually eliminates any viable solution to the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

Here in Bethlehem, we Christian Palestinians invite you to understand what is happening in the town 2000 years after the birth of Christ and to act before it is too late.
